April 20, 2015, Changes
Google®, the service provider of YouTube™, posted an important notice on their official website on January 22, 2015, that Google volition no longer support YouTube apps on sure devices after April xx, 2015. Please visit the YouTube back up article for more than information.
As a consequence of Google'due south decision, the YouTube app 
and related functions will no longer show content on certain models of Sony® television, video and audio products after Apr xx, 2015.
September 30, 2016, Changes
Some TV models also include the YouTube for TV app 
. When using the YouTube for Goggle box app you may experience a black screen, or an error message may be displayed, and the video will stop playing.
These symptoms are not a failure of your TV. However, due to these problems Sony has decided to delete the YouTube for TV icon from affected BRAVIA® TVs, and the YouTube for Tv set role will non exist usable after September xxx, 2016.

Some 2012 Blu-ray Disc™ players and abode theater systems also include the YouTube for Television set app . When using the YouTube for TV app you may feel a blackness screen, or an error message may be displayed, and the video will stop playing.
Due to these issues Sony volition no longer provide the YouTube function for 2012 video and audio products later on February 15, 2017.
